Cam’ron expressed dissatisfaction with Caitlyn Jenner following her controversial tweet about O.J. Simpson. On a recent episode of “It Is What It Is,” Cam’ron and his co-host Ma$e discussed Simpson’s legacy and the persistent doubts surrounding his 1995 acquittal in the murder cases of his ex-wife and her friend. Cam’ron specifically criticized Jenner for tweeting “Good Riddance #OJSimpson” shortly after Simpson’s death was announced.
I know you all think it’s cute to compare a fatal car accident (with multiple vehicles involved) to a BRUTAL MURDER… But Remember…
OJ said something to the effect of…
I could kill her (Nicole) and get away with it bc I’m #OJSimpson https://t.co/RSDFCjnaiy— Caitlyn Jenner (@Caitlyn_Jenner) April 12, 2024
Cam’ron highlighted the issue of continuing to judge people even after they have been legally cleared. He referenced a past incident where Jenner was involved in a fatal car crash in Calabasas, which she claimed was caused by being chased by paparazzi. Cam’ron noted that Jenner’s situation was not akin to that of Princess Diana, suggesting that the crash could have been avoided. He also pointed out that Jenner settled the case by paying $800,000, which he interpreted as an acknowledgment of her responsibility.
To provide some background, the Kardashian/Jenner family has a longstanding connection to Simpson and his late wife, Nicole Brown Simpson. Jenner was formerly married to Kris Jenner, who was previously married to Robert Kardashian. Robert Kardashian was a close friend of Simpson and served as one of his defense attorneys during his murder trial. Kris has often stated publicly that she believed Nicole’s accusations of Simpson being abusive. Kris and Robert’s daughters—Khloe, Kim, and Kourtney Kardashian—grew up close to the Simpsons, often referring to them as uncle and aunt.
