Conservative commentator Candace Owens didn’t hold back when she sat down with Piers Morgan recently. The political firestarter, known for her unapologetic takes and full-throated support of Donald Trump, had some serious second thoughts to share on air.

When Morgan asked if she could ever support Trump again, Owens made one thing clear: she doesn’t regret choosing Trump over Kamala Harris or Joe Biden, but she’s no longer sure she can stand by him. “He’s been a chronic disappointment,” she said. “And I feel embarrassed that I told people to vote for him.”
Yes, embarrassed.
Owens went on to say the Trump she sees now isn’t the same candidate she once rallied behind.
“This is not the candidate I voted for,” she added. That’s a sharp pivot from someone who’s spent years defending Trump at every turn.
It’s a rare moment of reflection for Owens, especially after being one of Trump’s most visible defenders in the media. But after his actions in and out of office, it looks like even she’s starting to question if the MAGA brand is still worth backing.
Still, Owens didn’t say she’s done with Trump for good. Instead, she left the door open, saying she doesn’t know what’s next. But her words were a wake-up call: the political picture is shifting, even among Trump’s once-loyal supporters.
