Candace Owens is calling foul on Donald Trump, and this time, it’s about bombs, promises, and peace talks.
On Saturday, Trump announced a U.S. airstrike on three major nuclear sites in Iran: Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. He called the mission a “very successful attack” and praised the U.S. military for their execution. He ended his statement with a surprising twist: “NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE.”
That’s when Owens stepped in.
The conservative political commentator didn’t mince words, labeling Trump’s statement as “utterly deranged.” In a direct post, she quoted his message about dropping a “full payload of bombs” and then calling for peace, writing,
“Utterly deranged.”
But she didn’t stop there. Owens suggested that Trump only stuck to his promises when billionaire GOP donors, like Sheldon Adelson, were writing the checks.
“If we had raised the 100 million Adelson gave him on GoFundMe, maybe he would have kept his promises,” she wrote. “Guess we’ll never know.”
The jab was sharp and personal. Owens, once a vocal Trump supporter, now appears to be questioning not only his leadership but his loyalty to the base that backed him.
With tensions rising in the Middle East and Trump re-entering the political spotlight, Owens’ public callout signals growing skepticism among conservative voices once firmly in his corner.
