Singer Capella Grey is seemingly calling out Drake and Lil Wayne for failing to come to Nicki Minaj’s defense the same way she frequently comes to theirs.
Friday, Minaj was the talk of social media after it was revealed that she hadn’t received a single Grammy nomination, despite the success of her “Pink Friday 2” album. Many fans expressed shock and called out the Recording Academy for having underlying smoke with Minaj. Well, Grey, the singer behind the viral 2021 track “Gyalis,” wants to know why Wayne and Drake, Minaj’s fellow YMCMB artists, have not said a peep.
Drake and Wayne can’t act so clueless when it come to loyalty all the time,” he stated. “She risking her whole reputation on rants to defend em, & their response really be, ‘Lol I’m neutral, chill.’”

It appears that Grey is also referencing Wayne and Drake being mute when she lashed out at Jay-Z several weeks ago after his Roc Nation imprint helped appoint Kendrick Lamar as the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show performer over Wayne. Minaj publicly accused him of a sham Tidal deal and having a personal vendetta against her and Wayne. Jay has not responded to her claims.
Minaj has not personally spoken out about her latest Grammy snub. However, she did choose to announce her latest project, “Pink Friday 2: The Hiatus,” after the nominations were revealed. The release date is set for December 14th.
