Bad news for the Bardi Gang.
Cardi B just confirmed her highly anticipated sophomore album won’t drop this year.
Fans have been waiting since 2018’s Invasion of Privacy, but it looks like they’ll have to wait a little longer.
During an Instagram Live this weekend, Cardi opened up about the craziness of 2023.
“I’ve been feeling so emotional lately,” she said. “This has been the weirdest year ever. I can’t even tell you what happened.” She admitted to going through a whirlwind of emotions, including a breakup, a divorce, and non-stop partying.
“I’m going through a very different transition in my life,” she explained. “Life is moving a little too fast. I don’t want to crash.”
However, she has once again promised that her album and some mystery projects will be released next year.
“Next year, my album will be out, my secret businesses will be out,” she teased. “I can’t tell you what I’m working on. Hopefully next year, I get me a little boyfriend; I’m hoe-less right now.”
Looks like the Bardi Gang will have to keep waiting—but Cardi’s got big things coming in 2025.
