Cardi B is tired of women being judged for getting plastic surgery, especially when it comes to nose jobs.

The Bronx-bred rapper came to the defense of fellow artist GloRilla, who’s been facing online criticism after fans noticed what looked like a recent nose job. While some tried to clown Glo’s new look, Cardi came through with the facts, sharing her own experience and breaking down why people need to chill with the instant critiques.
In a recent livestream, Cardi got straight to the point. “And I guess now Glo came out, and she just got her nose done. But I really want to let you guys know these two things,” she began.
“First thing first, I am an advocate of surgery, because if you don’t like something, I’m always an advocate to fix it,” she said. “However, I’m always, especially when it comes to your face, a real advocate, like, please do your research.”
Cardi reminded fans that nose jobs take way more time to heal than people realize.
“When somebody get their nose done and y’all automatically go drag them because their nose is like this or their nose is like this, y’all have to remember, it’s going to look like that for five months,” she explained. “Your nose look much healed in a year. But your nose takes three years to heal.”
She continued, “It’s not a BBL. It takes time to heal. You can massage it. You could do red light therapy. You could do lymphatic drainage. It takes a while.”
Cardi even brought up rapper Bhad Bhabie as an example, saying her nose still looks stiff because it’s still healing. She then brought up her own rhinoplasty.
“If y’all look at my pictures from 2020 after ‘WAP’ when I got my nose done, my nose looked crazy for like six, seven months,” she admitted. “I was panicking. I was huffed. I was about to put my doctor on blast, like, ‘N***a, you f**ked up my nose!’”
But with time, things settled. As for Glo, she seemingly confirmed the nose job, tweeting “& DID” as the topic became a big talking point online.
