Cardi B has her eyes set on a new business venture that involves TV, alcoholic drinks, and the Bronx native, herself.
According to Vice Media, the 26-year-old rap pop star has filed legal documents to trademark the phrase “bocktails” in preparation for a potential new show, titled “Bocktails with Cardi B.” Cardi B is reportedly planning to use the phrase for “ongoing episodes for distribution via television and the Internet featuring celebrities and artists,” according to the registration, which was filed on Friday.
While there is no information on what the show will consist of, it has been confirmed the raptress plans on profiting off the phrase in other forms such as apparel, including caps, footwear, and skirts; and “alcoholic beverages, except beer and beverages containing beer.”
Vice News reports a trademark filing from late February shows the same company, Washpoppin, Inc., filed for Bocktails with Cardi B” as well as the use of the word “bocktails” in the general category of “alcoholic beverages.”
