Cardi B just secured a small win in her long-running battle against Tasha K.
According to new court docs, the gossip blogger agreed to pay $1.2 million over five years and to keep Cardi’s name out of her mouth.
In exchange, Cardi dropped her objections to Tasha’s bankruptcy case. But let’s be clear, this deal only covers a fraction of what Tasha actually owes.
The full $3.9 million debt isn’t going anywhere, and she’ll still have to pay up once she’s done with the bankruptcy repayment plan.
As you know, this legal drama started back in 2019 after Tasha spread wild rumors about Cardi. By 2022, the court ruled in Cardi’s favor, forcing Tasha to delete over 20 defamatory videos and banning her from speaking on the rapper again.
But getting that money has been the hardest obstacle for the Bodak Yellow rapper.
Tasha filed for bankruptcy in 2023, and Cardi wasn’t having it. She pushed to get the case thrown out, accusing Tasha and her husband of scheming to dodge payment.
Now, with this new deal in place, Tasha gets a little breathing room, but she still owes—and you can bet Cardi won’t be letting up.
