Sangamon County Sheriff’s Deputy Sean P. Grayson has been charged with Massey’s murder and has pleaded not guilty. The incident, captured on disturbing bodycam footage, has outraged many, including Cardi B. The rapper took to Twitter to express her disbelief and anger, stating, “AFTER WATCHING SONYA MASSEY GET KILLED IN 4K… Just wow ….he never changed.”

Cardi B has been vocal about Massey’s murder, previously criticizing conservative commentator Candace Owens for downplaying the incident as not racially motivated. Owens had suggested that “accidents happen,” to which Cardi B responded passionately, “You don’t feel one little bit of empathy, a little bit of sympathy of how this woman died? There was no argument, there was no conflict, there was no raised voice, and she got shot. He knew in the back of his head because she was a Black woman that he was going to get away with it.”

This isn’t Cardi B’s first time calling out Trump. She recently questioned his statements to Christians, suggesting they wouldn’t have to vote after 2024 if he’s elected, implying that he was promoting a form of dictatorship.
