Cardi B is continuing her pursuit to recover owed funds from Tasha K.
Recent documents from Radar Online, dated August 28, indicate that Cardi B has subpoenaed all five of Tasha’s current banks, seeking financial information.
She requests “all documents and communications received by or sent to third parties other than the Debtor, including but not limited to the Internal Revenue Service, regarding the Debtor’s finances, employment, income, expenses, businesses or business interests.”
The update follows Tasha K’s bankruptcy filing, which led to a court order for Cardi B to halt her $4 million collection efforts.
On August 24, new documents revealed that Tasha K offered Cardi B only $220,000 as a settlement, which Cardi B rejected.
The Grammy-winning rapper sued the vlogger in 2019 over numerous false statements, including accusations of herpes, using a beer bottle as a sex toy, prostitution, and cocaine abuse.
Cardi B was awarded $2.5 million in damages and $1.3 million in legal fees after winning the case in January. Tasha K’s Chapter 11 filing states she has only $95 in her Chase Bank account.
In total, Tasha K’s personal possessions, which encompass bags, vehicles, attire, her engagement ring, and properties related to her business, amounted to $58,595.56. Currently, she is not being evicted from her home.
Tasha confessed to intentionally spreading false information about Cardi B to benefit her YouTube platform’s business interests.
