After three years of marriage, Cardi B and Offset are calling it quits — and Cardi wants to clear up any misconceptions about why.
Cardi took to Instagram on Friday night to clear up any rumors about why they are divorcing, saying it’s not due to rumors of infidelity by the Migos rapper.
“I don’t need stunts. I don’t need any stunts when it comes to family to sell anything,” she says.
“I don’t understand why people want the reason for this divorce to be something so, so bad. It’s nothing crazy out of this world happen,” the Bronx rapper continues. “Sometimes people really do f*ck*ng grow apart. I been with this man for four years. I have a kid with this man. I have a household with this man.”
“You just tired of the arguments, of the build-ups. You get tired sometimes. And before something bad happens, before you get left, before you get cheated on, sometimes you just want to leave. What is so bad about that?”
Cardi B makes it clear that, to her knowledge, Offset does not have another baby on the way, and it’s not because of cheating that she filed for divorce.
The two share a two-year-old daughter, Kulture Kiari.
According to Page Six, the rapper is not for spousal or child support in the divorce.
