After smashing multiple hip-hop history records and becoming the second female rapper to secure the top spot on the Billboard’s Hot 100 charts, everyone’s favorite regular degular girl from the Bronx has finally released her highly anticipated debut album, ‘Invasion of Privacy.’
Cardi B’s debut album features 13 tracks, including the chart-topping single, “Bodak Yellow,” which has single-handedly helped push the Bronx-bred rapper to another first-time feat.
In less than 24 hours, ‘Invasion of Privacy’ has already earned a gold certification from RIAA. In fact, the accomplishment makes Cardi B the first female artist to achieve a Gold certified album on the day of its release. In addition to the overnight success of her debut album, Cardi will also become the first ever co-host of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” next week.
