Even though Kamala Harris didn’t emerge victorious in the presidential race, Cardi B is making it clear that her admiration and support for the Vice President remain unwavering.
Wednesday, Cardi shared a heartfelt message to Harris on her Instagram, praising her for her strength and resilience throughout the campaign.
“To Vice President Kamala, no matter what they’ve said to bring you down or belittle your run for presidency, they can never say you didn’t run your race with honesty and with integrity!” Cardi wrote. She praised Harris’s strength, adding, “This may not mean much, but I am so proud of you!”
Cardi went on to share how much Harris’s campaign meant to her and other women of color: “You have shown me, showed my daughters, and women across the country that anything is possible.”
She ended her post by thanking Harris for embodying empowerment and representing what the American dream should look like.
“Thank you for being an example, thank you for being empowered, thank you for being a real example of what the American dream should be!”
While this may not be the news many hoped for today, Kamala still held her ground in the election, and the Bardi gang couldn’t be more proud.
