Carlee Russell Fired From Spa Job

The Carlee Russell story continues. And it seems to only get worse, this time around, she has been fired from her job.

The Woodhouse Spa in Birmingham, Alabama, gave her the axe after her claims of being kidnapped aren’t adding up. The 25-year-old resurfaced alive and well two days after gaining national attention for what seemed like at the time a possible abduction, the New York Post reported.

Her former boss, Stuart Rome, told the outlet that Russell’s former co-workers are upset with her because they feel she may have lied to them as well.

Rome added that her co-workers handed out fliers after she disappeared although they were super busy at work, adding that the spa received several negative social media posts from trolls, blasting the company for employing Russell, which has resulted in many terrible reviews, TMZ reported.

Rome said business is now so bad he’s “just trying to keep the doors open.”

Police held a press conference Wednesday to give updates on Russell’s kidnapping story, which brought further scrutiny to her story.  They also revealed she searched the internet for information on Amber Alerts and the abduction film, “Taken,” before she vanished.
