Casey Anthony has resurfaced with a new video series on TikTok, where she says she will speak on legal advocacy issues, women’s rights, and support for the LGBTQ community. Now 38, Anthony is attempting to reintroduce herself to the public, more than a decade after being acquitted of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony.

In a March 1 video, Anthony described herself as a legal advocate and researcher, saying she has been involved in the legal field since 2011. She stated that the series is an effort to advocate for herself and her daughter while providing legal resources to others. Anthony also made it clear that her content was not intended as a response to her parents, George and Cindy Anthony, who have continued to speak publicly about Caylee’s death.
Despite the not-guilty verdict in her 2011 trial, Anthony remains a highly controversial figure. The case captivated the nation, with prosecutors arguing that she suffocated her daughter with chloroform and duct tape, while her defense claimed that Caylee drowned in the family’s pool and that Casey’s father, George, helped cover it up. A jury ultimately found her guilty only of lying to law enforcement, leaving the circumstances surrounding Caylee’s death officially unsolved.
Anthony says she is using her platform to help others navigate the legal system and will share educational content through TikTok and Substack, where she has been actively engaging with users. In one exchange, she fired back at a commenter who mocked her, saying, “You know my name, but not my real story.” She also suggested that her critics were keeping her name relevant and encouraged them to “stick around and educate” themselves.
In her video, Anthony emphasized the importance of privacy, stating that she has come to see her notoriety as a “blessing” rather than a “curse.” She also revealed that her decision to start the series was influenced by recent attacks on people close to her.
