Cassie’s emotional testimony in the federal case against Sean “Diddy” Combs has taken a deeply complicated and controversial turn.
During her testimony Wednesday, Ventura said Combs raped her on her living room floor following what she thought would be a “closure” dinner in 2018.
During questioning by the Assistant U.S. Attorney, Cassie recounted a harrowing moment when she says Diddy forced himself on her, describing the incident as violent and emotionally detached. “His eyes were black. It was like taking something from you,” she told the court.
When asked what happened after she cried, Cassie said Diddy continued the assault, finished, and then left.
She then admitted to having one consensual sexual encounter with with Combs after the alleged rape, citing the fact that they had been together for a decade.
The two had “a few check-ins” after 2018, which she described as short and friendly messages, saying things like “sending love.”
Diddy has denied all allegations against him.
This is a developing story. Stay tuned for more updates as court proceedings
