Cassie’s damning testimony on Tuesday has offered a shocking glimpse into her past relationship with Diddy, which included lengthy “freak-offs.”
The singer, who dated the mogul from 2007 to 2018, took the stand in his federal sex trafficking trial and detailed disturbing experiences during their relationship. She testified about taking part in “freak-offs,” alleged sex sessions organized by Diddy involving escorts, heavy drug use, and video recordings.
“There was no time to do anything else but do them, then try to recover,” she said, noting that the longest lasted four days.
According to Inner City Press, which reported live from the courtroom, Cassie stated the sessions “became a job.” She said she grew worried Diddy had “blackmail materials” from the encounters and revealed that he would get angry if told “no” to his demands.
Ventura began dating Diddy at 19, shortly after signing to his Bad Boy label. Despite their non-monogamous arrangement, she claimed the relationship included escalating abuse. In November 2023, she filed a civil lawsuit accusing him of rape and sexual assault. It was settled the following day. Diddy has denied all allegations.
During her Tuesday testimony, prosecutors emphasized the coercive nature of the “freak-offs,” alleging some participants needed IV drips to recover. Cassie also described feeling trapped in the cycle of sex, drugs, and recovery.
The trial is expected to last roughly eight weeks.
