The federal trial involving Diddy continues to unfold in a Manhattan courtroom, and Friday’s session brought more bombshells. Prosecutors introduced what they say are text messages between Diddy and his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura that offer a deeper look into their volatile relationship.
“You treat me like a hooker to be honest. You always want to call one and you have one. This hooker has been here for 10 years,” Cassie allegedly wrote to Diddy. His response? A simple, “Wow.”
Prosecutors also presented another message they claim Cassie sent, referencing what are believed to be Diddy’s infamous “freak-off” parties. “I love our FOs when we both want it.” She later texted him in 2017, saying, “That’s not love. That’s possession. I have bleeding cut.”
In contrast, the defense argues crucial texts were left out, ones that could paint a fuller picture of their relationship.
Diddy allegedly fired back at one point: “I’m not gonna let someone s**t on me when all I’ve been is nice… You don’t treat me like a king… You was acting like a b***h… You’re wack for not keeping it real.”
Meanwhile, Diddy’s former assistant Brendan Paul testified that “Jane,” an anonymous accuser, never appeared reluctant to join the alleged “freak-offs.” He also admitted to allegedly supplying drugs for Combs.
Judge Arun Subramanian is pushing to wrap the trial by July 4th, with closing arguments potentially happening next week.
