In January we reported that CBS Broadcaster Greg Anthony was arrested after being caught in the middle of a prostitution sting. The case was dismissed after Anthony completed his mandatory 32 hours of community. Now it appears he has been delivert and finally gotten his job back.
Beginning Saturday, July 4th, Greg Anthony will be back on airwaves as an NBA TV game analyst for NBA Summer League play in Orlando. The gig runs through July 10th. There’s no word on whether Anthony has his job back permanently but this is a great start for a married man who just a few months ago, was ordering sex from undercover cops on Backpage.
Greg Anthony did issue a short statement regarding his reinstatement. “I’d like to thank my family for their continued support,” Anthony said. “I’m looking forward to returning to my role as a basketball analyst and I’m grateful to Turner Sports and the NBA for this opportunity. ”
