CBS Interrupts Trumps Speech For ‘The Price Is Right’

It looks like CBS is over Trump and his antics.

On Friday, Trump declared a national emergency to gain access to billions of dollars in funding for border wall construction. Twenty minutes into his speech, CBS stopped airing it and got back to their regularly scheduled program, ‘The Price Is Right.’

CNN’s Brian Shelter caught the switch and began live tweeting. “CBS cut away from Trump’s riff after 20 minutes. “The Price Is Right” is now on.”

He continued tweeting about a contestant on the show that could have possibly won a Kia Soul, “How much do you think a five-speed hand mixer costs? This “Price Is Right” contestant has no idea. She could win a Kia Soul!”

The speech lasted roughly about 50 minutes, and according to Deadline Hollywood, other networks played the entirety of the speech.

It’s safe to say that CBS is the real MVP!
