The CEO of a marketing firm outside Chicago has been identified as one of the many people arrested on Wednesday during the breach of the capitol. He is calling it the ‘single worst decision’ of his life.”

Bradley Rukstales, the 52-year-old president of Cogensia, confirmed his arrest by Capitol Police for unlawful entry to WBEZ.

In a statement, Rukstales wrote he deeply regrets his decision. Saying his “decision to enter the Capitol was wrong.” He goes onto say, “Without qualification and as a peaceful and law-abiding citizen, I condemn the violence and destruction that took place in Washington.”

Rukstales blames his first arrest on “extremely poor judgment.”

“It was the single worst personal decision of my life. I have no excuse for my actions and wish that I could take them back,” he included in his statement, reported by the New York Post.

Rukstales went onto apologize to family, friends, colleagues, and “fellow countrymen.”

Obviously a huge Trump supporter, in the past, Rukstales has donated over $28,000 to Republicans, including $12,000 to Trump via various committees.

Cogensia announced via Twitter that Rukstales had been placed on leave as the company assesses the incident. They also made sure to note that “he was acting on his own behalf while participating in the riots.”
