A person of interest in the murder of Young Dolph has been killed in Memphis, Tennessee.
Joshua Taylor, also known as CEO Teezy, was found dead on Wednesday afternoon by Memphis Police at Spottswood Avenue near Buntyn Street. It is believed that he was murdered sometime Tuesday night. Taylor was named a person of interest last February. It’s unknown what role the police think he played in Dolph’s death. Complex reported that he was facing several charges last year, including theft of property and possession of a prohibited weapon. He had not been named an official suspect. Unfortunately, before police had the chance to question him further, Taylor was killed.

The 26-year-old was reportedly shot, though no suspects have been identified. Investigators have not revealed whether or not the shooting was retaliation for Dolph’s death. However, social media has erupted with theories surrounding Taylor. The most prevalent one seems to be that members of Dolph’s camp had a hand in Taylor’s demise. None of these claims have been substantiated.

Along with Taylor, another person of interest has emerged in the long-running investigation. Devin Burns is also being looked into for a possible connection to Dolph’s November 2021 death. He, too, has not been named a suspect.
So far, four men have been charged with Dolph’s murder. Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith are accused of being the triggermen that Hernandez Govan hired to kill the “Get Paid” rapper. Jermarcus Johnson is said to have helped his brother, Justin evade capture. Jermarcus has since agreed to testify in the case.
