Chad Ochocinco Johnson Congratulates Ex-Fiancée Sharelle Rosado on Media Partnership with Shannon Sharpe After Initial Trolling [Video]

Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson caused a firestorm online after joking about being upset with ex-fiancée, Sharelle Rosado for teaming up with Shannon Sharpe and his media company, Shay Shay Media.

On Monday, Shay Shay Media announced on Twitter (X), that “Humble Baddies” featuring Rosado had recently joined their lineup. The tweet urged fans to tune into the latest episode and subscribe to the new show while also highlighting Rosado’s involvement.

“We’re proud to announce that #HumbleBaddies has joined the Shay Shay Media family!” the post read. “Thank you Sharelle, Ashley, and Alexis. The newest episode of Humble Baddies is out RIGHT NOW on their YouTube channel! Go like, subscribe, watch, and share!”

However, despite many finding the move to be celebratory, Ochocinco chimed in and felt the total opposite. He took to Twitter and questioned why no one reached out to him to see if he was okay with the new deal.

“So nobody was gonna run this by me first to see if I was okay with this partnership,” the 47-year-old wrote before adding, “Y’all got me f**ked up I’ll do my own damn podcast.”

Now, what made the situation appear messy was that Ochocinco and Sharpe currently host the popular “Nightcap” podcast together under Shay Shay Media. After his remarks went viral, the one-time reality TV star cleared the air on their show, confirming that he was only trolling about not knowing about Rosado joining the network.

The former football star and Rosado got engaged in 2023 after welcoming their daughter in January 2022. Unfortunately, two years later, the couple called it quits. Recently, Rosado told Carlos King that their breakup stemmed from inappropriate text messages she found between her man and other women.

Nevertheless, Ochocinco has expressed his happiness for Rosado in her new venture.
