T.I. Responds After Chainsmokers Member Claimed Rapper Punched Him in the Face Over a Kiss [Video]

Chainsmokers member Andrew “Drew” Taggart took to TikTok this week to share his experience meeting rapper T.I., captioning the video, “When meeting T.I goes wrong.”

According to Drew, he was feeling “the vibes” and kissed T.I on the cheek– but the rapper wasn’t having it.

“I was feeling the vibes way too hard and I kissed T.I on the cheek,” said Drew.

T.I apparently pushed him off and punched him in the face.

Drew shared that T.I. was completely in the right and that he apologized for the kiss. “He pushed me off, and I was like yeah, my bad, then he punched me in the face. I said I’m sorry and he was like, ‘alright, cool,” Drew continued.

T.I responded Wednesday, taking to Instagram to show his love for the Chainsmokers. “I love the Chainsmokers. Let’s just get that straight. I have nothing negative to say. We just had to work through some stuff and we worked through it. We got to a much better place,” the rapper said.

T.I refused to go into detail about the incident but shared that they are good guys. After admitting to taking a shot and drinking with both band members, he invited them on his show, “ExpediTIously.”
