While #ChanceTheRapper and #GHerbo have been working on music together, the duo has also been plotting on a different type of joint project.

While on the set of their “Everything Remix” visual shoot, the two did a FaceTime interview with Ebro Darden. After discussing their project, which features #LilUziVert, Chance revealed that he had enlisted G Herbo to do some “cool shit for mental health,” as well.

“I’m not going to give all the details but very soon before May, we got some cool s**t for Chicago,” the rapper said.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Chance previously spoke about having anxiety, which he says stemmed from watching close friends die in front of him.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Both rappers are making moves as Chicago natives, something G Herbo feels is a benefit to local residents.

“For the city, it gives hope, you know?” Herbo said. “We’re two kids from the city of Chicago, Southeast side of Chicago, who are really able to bring change to the city. You’re able to see it firsthand. You’re able to see what Chan’s doing for the city firsthand. You’re able to see what I’m doing for the city firsthand, and just come together. We need to start doing it more, just bringing the city together. I feel like this could be the start of something big.”

While details of the project have not been revealed, this is definitely a big deal for the Chicago natives.
