Another day, another DJ Mustard versus Chanel Thierry feud.
This week, things with the exes seemed to have taken a better turn. A report shared by RadarOnline claimed the former couple had finally settled their divorce proceedings. Per the outlet, Mustard would keep all rights to his music catalog, while Thierry would walk away with $24,500 per month in child support for their three children, which was a significant dip from the $80,000 she initially requested. However, on Thursday, Thierry let it be known that the divorce was still ongoing.
In an exclusive statement to The Jasmine Brand, Thierry said they had not reached an amicable conclusion, especially not regarding their children.
“Nothing is settled, not even child support. Dijon still owes back child support. Dijon refuses to co-parent with me since filing. My lawyers are working very hard to get court-ordered co-parenting classes going because he refuses to,” she explained.
Mustard, seemingly growing frustrated with the slow rate at which his divorce is progressing, took to his IG Story to vent, writing, “It’s been a year and a half, man.”
“Everybody stop sending me these lives, man. Shop Sleep Ova for all your PJ needs,” taking a jab at Thierry’s loungewear line. The business owner also had a message of her own for Mustard, claiming he was trying to make her look bad.
“Everything I scream out how wrong you are doing me with my kids, you try to get the public to think I care about you moving on. I don’t. I truly wish yall the best. Just stop playing with my kids, man,” Thierry wrote on Threads.
The couple was together for at least a decade and tied the knot in 2020. Unfortunately, he filed for divorce in May 2022.
