Back in 2001, #CharlamagneThaGod was accused of drugging and raping a 15-year-old girl in his home state of South Carolina. However, at the time, the now-radio host pleaded guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor,” and in exchange, due to the “victim’s absence and lack of evidence available” officials dismissed the remaining charge.
Now, 17 years later, the alleged victim, Jessica Reid, has attempted to reopen the case, in an effort to get closure.
As part of her ploy to rehash the details of the alleged incident that occurred in 2001, Reid claimed she was never informed of the results of Charlamagne’s DNA in relation to her rape kit, as she believed it may have helped bring justice in the case.

Since then, The Blast has obtained the results in the now-dismissed sexual assault case. According to a Forensic Services Lab Report, there was no evidence of any semen found inside of Reid from an oral, vaginal and rectal swab.

No evidence was found underneath Reid’s fingernails either.

The radio host has maintained his innocence from the beginning and has been open about his cooperation in the investigation. Now, with the release of the lab report, it appears the case may be closed for good.
