The internet exploded when news broke of Lil Durk’s arrest.
Fans flooded social media with the now-viral hashtag #FreeDurk, rallying around the Chicago rapper, but not everyone is feeling the sympathy. Charleston White has zero remorse, making it clear he’s not here for any Durk pity party. White called out the double standard in a video, saying, “Ain’t nobody laughing at Durk like they were laughing at me when I went to jail.”
White didn’t hold back, comparing their situations and claiming the same people screaming “Free Durk” were clowning him during his own legal woes. White says it’s all love when it’s your “favorite rapper,” but it’s open season on everybody else.
“That n***a got a federal no bond; I bet that n***a’s a**hole done closed up,” he added.
Then, White predicted that Durk might have to consider protective custody because California inmates are known to be hungry for extortion when high-profile names hit the system. White then proceeded to play J. Cole and Durk’s hit record, “All My Life.”
Durk is facing a serious case for allegedly paying several men to kill rapper Quando Rondo over his role in the murder of King Von. However, during the 2022 hit, Rondo’s close friend Luh Pab was murdered.
