Cheap Date Ideas for the Ballers on a Budget

You have a special someone eh? You want to take them out on a date eh? You just checked your wallet and seven butterflies and lint just flew out eh? No worries, CrisdaCat has your back. It’s Spring and love is in the air. There are several ways to enjoy your Spring-time love affair and you don’t have to break the bank. If he/she is wondering why you aren’t taking her out on that glorified $200 date, then she isn’t the one for you boo.

Cheap date ideas? I have them. Get your pen and pad out.

1. Host a game night

No, you aren’t too old to play games, actually they are pretty fun. I know you have a niece, a friend, SOMEONE, that can give you a board game, Uno, or a deck of cards to host a game night.. This is also a way to take the pressure off of a one-on-one date. Invite over all of the homies and bring the snacks. You don’t have to go all out. Chips and dips, maybe some hot wings, crackers, fruit trays, they are all do-able for under $20 at Walmart. Enjoy your date.

2. Go outside

Yes I said it. Take a break from your social media accounts and take bae outside.  There are various outdoor activities to do in the Spring like fruit picking, hiking, heading to a flea market or plant nursery or a picnic. Its a great idea to bring a disposable camera as well. Take photos and later develop them. If things go great, they will be great for a scrapbook. If things don’t turn out so well, burn them. Enjoy your date.

3.Movie night

An actual movie night, not a “come over a chill” night. Tell your bae to bring over their favorite movie and you bring yours. Keep your hands to yourself. Pop the popcorn and enjoy your date.

These are just a few of the things you can do for the low with your boo thing. If you do have a little pocket change you can also rent a bike at the beach and bike ride, take a trip to the zoo, bowling, ice/roller skating, do karaoke, paint-and-sip functions and more. All I’m saying is, I never want to hear anyone complain of being broke on a date. Take it easy, money spent should not be a factor. Just have fun and Enjoy your date.
