Cher Shows Off Her Rumored Engagement Ring In NYE Photos With Her Boyfriend, AE

Cher flaunts her new Diamond ring and lets everyone know that she’s bringing her beau Alexander “AE” Edwards into the year.

Over the weekend, social media saw many of our favorite celebs celebrating the holidays with family, friends, and romantic partners. Legendary singer, Cher, was no exception and happily showed off her love for her music executive boyfriend, AE.

After the New Year’s countdown ended, the 76-year-old singer posted a photo to Twitter alongside her 36-year-old lover. The picture shows AE kissing Cher on her cheek as she smiles and flashes her new Diamond ring that she received from her boo for Christmas.

“Happy New Year Daddy,” Cher captioned the photo.

Two hours later, Cher posted another photo of the two at their eventful NYE and had a few words for the haters and naysayers.

Since the singer posted her luxurious gift, many social media users speculated that the couple had gotten engaged.

After the rumors began circulating, Cher addressed the assumptions. However, she didn’t not deny nor confirm if they were tying the knot soon.

Cher and AE first caught the public’s eye in November after being photographed together holding hands in Los Angeles. Shortly after, Cher confirmed in a now-deleted tweet, that she was dating AE and defended their 40 year age gap.

This is not the first time Cher has dated someone who was years younger than her. Around the 1980s, the singer dated a handful of young stars including Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer, and Rob Camilletti.

AE is also no stranger to dating within the entertainment industry. Before meeting with Cher, AE dated Amber Rose in 2018 and welcomed their first child together, Slash. The former couples’ relationship lasted for roughly three years before they called it a quits in August 2021.
