Chet Hanks has filed a lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend for allegedly assaulting him. And he’s currently facing backlash for “racist” merchandise collection.
At the start of the new year, Hanks, 30, and his ex-girlfriend Kiana Parker got into a physical altercation that was caught on tape, which TMZ recently released. In the video, Hanks claims Parker attacked him with a knife. Parker can be heard in the background, denying his words. Viewers can see blood coming down from Hanks’ head
“Now you’re flipping the story,” Hanks says in the video, adding that he allegedly caught her stealing his money. He also claimed that she took his credit cards and paid her rent with them. According to TMZ, the incident happened on Jan. 8 in Hanks’s Sugarland, Texas home. Hanks is now suing Parker for theft, assault, aversion, and battery, People reports. In addition, Hanks claims that Parker arrived at a home he was leasing in Houston, Texas. At the time, Hanks was ending the lease and moving out. Parker allegedly arrived at the home with “three menacing large men,” and one of the men allegedly “showed that he had a gun.”
“The day after Chet Hanks confronted Kiana Parker about stealing money from his credit card, while Ms. Parker was accompanied by a huge male carrying a gun, she viciously attacked Chet with a knife, which caused him to profusely bleed. It is all on video and the undisputed video tells the whole story. Her claims are completely false, fabricated, and fictional,” Hanks’ attorney, Marty Singer said in a statement to People.
While Hanks that ordeal, he also got another issue to handle. The social media personality is looking at allegations of racism after he posted a video of a new collection of merchandise called “White Boy Summer.” The line includes shorts, leggings, baseball caps, and more. People online have been calling the Gothic-imprinted clothing “aggressively racist.”
On Tuesday, Hanks announced that he would also be releasing clothing with the phrase “Black Queen Summer.”
