Spring is here, and Chick-fil-A wasted no time pulling its famed Watermelon Mint Lemonade out of the archives.
Customers fell in love with the Watermelon Mint Lemonade when it debuted in 2017. However, this wildly popular drink slowly drifted away from menus. Despite fans petitioning to bring the beverage back permanently, Chick-fil-A moved on from the Watermelon Mint Lemonade. Just as all hope of a return was lost, the chicken chain announced the decision to bring it back once more.
This seasonal drink is returning and bringing along some options for fans of the beloved fruit. Aside from the classic Watermelon Mint Lemonade, customers may also try a Watermelon Frosted Lemonade, which blends vanilla ice cream with the lemonade. If folks aren’t in the mood for this thick, shake-like drink, customers also have the option of Watermelon Mint Iced Tea or a Watermelon Mint Sunjoy, which combines the citrus drink and the tea.
Leslie Neslage, director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A, says the company is “thrilled” to bring back the Watermelon Mint Lemonade after years of pleas from loyal fans. Neslage does refer to the drink as “seasonal,” so fans shouldn’t get too excited about getting this drink year-round.
All variations of the Watermelon Mint Lemonade will be available starting April 3rd and will remain at least through the spring season.
