Back in December it was announced that 26 year old Kansas City Chiefs DB, Eric Berry, was battling Hodgkin Lymphoma after doctors discovered a mass on the right side of his chest. Today it was announced that he has completed his treatments and is hopefully on the road to recovery.
The news was confirmed by Kansas City’s organized head coach, Andy Reid, who said “He’s going to get his big end-of-the-school [year] exam down here. He’s been through all the treatments, so now the doctor is going to sit down with him and go over exactly what the results of all that are.”
In December doctors said that Berry’s condition was “very treatable” with standard chemotherapy approaches.
