Childish Gambino (a.k.a. Donald Glover) has had a terrific start to 2017. A bulk of the groundwork was done years prior and now the fruitful enjoyments are surfacing as he explains to Big Boy’s Neighborhood in an interview.
With so much going on, there are a few tasks that have to take a backseat, such as a new season with Atlanta and working on a joint-project with Chance The Rapper.
Chance The Rapper and Gambino are no strangers to making music together, as it started out early in Chance’s career. But now, the fans want to hear what a body of work with these two creatives would sound like.
“I don’t know if I’ll see him again now that he’s won a Grammy,” Gambino said on Chance. “We’ll see what happens. But yeah, we actually sat down in the studio and were talking for a little bit. We’re both busy but I think when he has like a moment we’ve been sitting down and just working together. I think it’s about catching a vibe. I really like the EP he just put out … We have to find a time to sit down together.”
If the two do get together and create some magic, it’ll be more music for people to enjoy.
