Blood clots found on Chris Bosh’s lungs could have the Heat star out for the remainder of the season, sources say.
Bosh was sent to a Miami-area hospital yesterday after reporting for practice Thursday feeling “under the weather,” according to head coach Erik Spoelstra. He was later admitted after meeting with doctors and undergoing further testing. Initial tests proved inconclusive, but doctors fear Bosh may have blood clots on his lungs. Multiple clots would mean Bosh would sit out the remainder of the season (or longer) while being treated with blood thinners for pulmonary embolism.Â
The Miami Heat will announce the decision today.Â
