Back in December, #ChrisBosh’s mother was named a suspect in a drug trafficking sting after officials raided a Texas home owned by the NBA star. At the time, Freida Bosh denied the allegations, claiming them to be “ridiculous and untrue.”

But, since Bosh’s home was involved in the incident, she felt inclined, at the time, to open up about the relationship, or lack thereof, she shared with her son. Not only did she claim to have been estranged for the last 12 years, but she said the two hadn’t spoken in five years. To make matters worse, she said he’d been trying to kick her out of the Texas home she claims the two built together. As a result, she decided to take legal action against him in an effort to keep the house. But, as the legal bills piled up, she rented out the home to cover the bills for the legal battle, which is how the drug situation came about.

Now, just five months later, Freida Bosh is taking legal action against her son for abandoning her and taking her home away.

In court documents obtained by The @Blast, Freida says Bosh made her sign documents for the deed of the house back in 2005. Problem is, she thought she was signing divorce documents that would allow her to receive Bosh’s father’s interest to the home. However, she claims Bosh guaranteed that she could stay in the home for the rest of her life and she believed that he would take care of her. But, things weren’t exactly what they seemed.

According to Freida, Bosh tricked her and actually made her sign docs to turn the house over to him solely, and the only reason she found out was because Bosh’s lawyer reached out to her back in August of 2017.

As a result, Freida is suing for unspecified damages, the home, and a voided deed transfer. However, Bosh has already responded to the suit, requesting the entire thing be tossed. Although he denies the allegations, the case is still ongoing. Freida’s criminal case is still pending as well.
