Chris Brown and Drake Sued for Copyright Infringement Over Hit Song “No Guidance”

Chris Brown and Drake have been hit with a new lawsuit claiming they stole the hit song “No Guidance.”

According to TMZ, a singer and producer said in a new lawsuit that “No Guidance” ripped off his work on a track called, “I Love Your Dress.”

Brandon Cooper, who goes by the stage name “Mr. Cooper,” and Timothy Valentine — aka “Drum’n Skillz” claim Chris Brown and Drake jacked their song that was released three years before the 2019 hit.

Cooper and Valentine allege an analysis of the beat, lyrics, hook and rhythmic structure demonstrates that “No Guidance” is a copy or, at the very least, principally derived from their song.

The singer and producer are suing CB and Drake for copyright infringement and are looking to collect damages.
