Chris Brown made his first public comment after being released on bail in his ongoing U.K. assault case. On Wednesday, the singer shared a brief message on Instagram Stories, writing:
“FROM THE CAGE TO THE STAGE!!!! BREEZYBOWL”

The post comes after a judge at Southwark Crown Court approved Brown’s release on £5 million ($6.7 million USD) bail, which includes conditions requiring his continued cooperation with the court. The 36-year-old artist is currently facing grievous bodily harm charges related to an alleged 2023 incident at Tape nightclub in Manchester, where he’s accused of striking music producer Abe Diaw with a tequila bottle. Brown has not yet entered a plea.
Despite the legal proceedings, Brown is expected to move forward with his upcoming BreezyBowl tour, which begins June 15 in Manchester—just two days after his next court appearance.
So far, there have been no announced changes to the tour schedule across the U.K. and Ireland.
