Chris Brown is requesting that his ex-housekeeper, Patricia Avila, undergo a mental examination after she claimed to have suffered emotional distress from witnessing an alleged dog attack involving the singer’s pet.
RadarOnline.com revealed that Brown is seeking a court order to compel Avila to attend a mental examination with a medical professional.
According to reports, Brown is currently dealing with two lawsuits stemming from an incident where his dogs attacked his ex-housekeeper’s sister.
Avila insists she is paid an unspecified amount for the emotional distress caused while witnessing her sister’s brutal mauling by Brown’s dog, Hades, a Caucasian Orvchake/Caucasian Shepherd.
Her sister demanded $71 million for her injuries but didn’t claim she was bitten.
“[Avila] stated that she still suffers from emotional distress symptoms and that she still requires ongoing treatment to address those problems,” his motion read.
According to RadarOnline.com’s initial report, Brown has denied all accusations in the other case, claiming that Avila’s sister provoked his dog, which resulted in the attack.
Brown says that Doe was the cause of her own injuries, as she supposedly “teased, abused, and mistreated” the animal.
His lawyer wrote, “[Doe] invited the injuries now complained of and assumed the risk of them with full knowledge of the magnitude of that risk, in that she knew her foregoing conduct might cause the dog to attack her, and seriously injure her, both of which events are alleged to have occurred.”
