Perry L. White is the costume designer who claims Chris Brown stiffed him for $10,000 after his work on Brown’s recent tour, Heartbreak On a Full Moon.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, White claims that Brown “has not paid me for wardrobe/clothing that I designed plus made for his tour.”
White posted a video earlier this year from Brown’s tour on Instagram celebrating his work.
On his website, White describes himself as an “exclusive” fashion designer, having worked with Queen Latifah, Macy Grey, Nicole Murphy, and E.J. Johnson. He has even collaborated with Prince, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and LL Cool J. The documents say White is in possession of “contracts and receipts” to support his filing.
Brown has been involved in a slew of litigations this year, including fights with Nia Guzman, his baby mama, his former manager accusing him of withholding drug tests in their case, and even combating drug pushing allegations.
Brown plans to appeal the court’s decision.
