Chris Brown was released from a DC area jail this afternoon. Initially charged with felony assault, Chris charges were not only reduced to misdemeanor, but he was released without having to pay bail. Why were the charges reduced, you ask? Because although the victim, 20-year-old Isaac Parker, says Chris threw the first punch. The police report says it was Chris’ bodyguard who threw the initial punch. It however did not say Chris was NOT involved though Chris has plead ‘Not Guilty’.
Friends, fans and family came to the court house to show support. Of the attendees being singer Trey Songz, who was also said to have yelled at U.S. Marshals to let him inside the courtroom.
Chris isn’t out of the woods yet, though. He has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from the victim, which shouldn’t be hard. Victory for Team Breezy.
