Just 24 hours after being released from a DC jail, R&B singer Chris Brown, has voluntarily checked himself into rehab. A rep for the singer tells E! News “Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility. His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point.”
Although arresting officers from Sunday night’s fight say they did not believe Chris was under the influence of any drugs and the judge (who originally ordered Brown to take a drug test) took back the order, Chris and his team still felt it was necessary for him to go to rehab.
I’m no genius but something tells me there is a lot more to the story than those involved are letting on to. Firstly, no one who isn’t on drugs is going to voluntarily enter a drug rehabilitation center. Those places are vacation resorts. Secondly, why would the judge order Chris Brown to a drug test and then take it back? Could Chris be trying to beat his probation officer to the punch by going to rehab before he a MANDATORY drug test is administered? The plot thickens!
