Last week a judge ordered Chris Brown to 90 days of rehab for anger management after he through a rock through the window of his mother’s car. Just in time for the holidays Chris begins his stint in rehab and while he gave up his cell phone and internet privileges cooperatively, he was not giving up Mary Jane that easily!
Â
Before entering his anger rehabilitation center, Chris asked the judge if he could still smoke marijuana. Of course, the judge said no. After successfully completing a week out of his 90 rehab stint, Chris felt he would give it another try. This time he asked the rehab facility if he can have his weed, claiming it was medicinal and he had a prescription. Chris told the staff that the weed was prescribed for his medical condition — depression and that smoking helps him calm down. The rehab facility said — NO!
Â
This is my issue with Chris, who in California DOESN’T have a prescription for weed? They give those prescriptions out like Trick-or-Treat candy. His mom has already said that he smokes entirely too much and this is the SAME judge that wants him to drug test regularly, why in the world would they want him to smoke weed? Chris Brown is in rehab and he needs to do what he came there to do, rehabilitate. The purpose of Anger Management is to find ways to control your anger and calm yourself. To find ways to MANAGE your emotions. If you have to smoke or drink to do that, you are in the wrong type of rehab. You need a drug rehab.
