Chris Rock reportedly isn’t “concerned” with Jada Pinkett Smith wanting Will Smith and Rock to find common ground after the Oscars slap.
The world was seemingly waiting on Pinkett Smith to speak out about the now two-month-old Oscars slap incident formally. She finally has; on a recent episode of her popular Facebook Watch series Red Table Talk, the actress opened up about wanting the two Hollywood stars to reconcile.
“My deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile,” Pinkett Smith shared on the show.
But, according to a source, the Smiths just aren’t on Rock’s radar right now.
“He’s not concerned with the Smiths at the moment,” the source says, Entertainment Tonight reports. “He’s touring and he’s preparing for a comedy special.” ET reports that the source went on to say that Rock doesn’t have anything up his sleeve and that he is merely just putting all his energy into his personal life and craft.
