Chris Rock has made it obvious where he sits on the vaxx/anti-vaxx controversy by taking a massive shot at Kyrie Irving– and he did it in front of a large crowd.
Chris performed at an NFT Week event in Brooklyn on Wednesday night when he called out anti-vaxxers. He began his show by making a joke about wearing face masks at concerts, before simply asking, “Where are my anti-vaxxers?”
Surprisingly, the question generated applause, although New York City requires vaccinations for indoor entertainment like shows and concerts. Following the cheers, Chris said, “You dumb, Kyrie motherf******!!!”
Rock has urged fans to get vaccinated in September following testing positive for a breakthrough case. He also promoted testing, mask-wearing and social distancing early on in the pandemic.
