Demand for tickets to Chris Rock’s comedy tour has apparently increased since Will Smith slapped him at the Oscars on Sunday night.
Following a quick visit to Boston’s Wilbur Theatre on Wednesday, the comedian will launch his Ego Death World Tour on April 2.
Since the Academy Awards drama, ticket prices for the tour, which includes stops in 30 North American cities, have risen from a low of $46 per ticket on March 18 to a high of $341 per ticket on the platform TickPick.
As of Sunday night, the company sold more tickets for the comedian‘s tour than it did in the past month.
