Chris Watts “Has Nothing Better To Do” So He’s Corresponding With Multiple Women From His Prison Cell

Chris Watts, the man who murdered his pregnant wife and two daughters, was sentenced to five life sentences back in 2018. Two years in, and Watts apparently has been talking to multiple women to pass the time.

A source who has spoken to Watts told People that the women who have reached out are not troubled by his crimes.

“He got a lot of letters at first,” the source told People. “Many of them are from women who thought he was handsome and felt compassion for him. He had nothing better to do, so he wrote them back. He started having penpals. A couple of them stood out, and they’ve kept in contact.”

Since the Sept. 30 release of American Murder: The Family NextDoor, the Netflix documentary about his case, Watts’ mail has definitely increased.

“Some of the letters are angry. A lot of them are from people of faith who want to pray for him,” the source said, also adding he’s received more than 10 letters this week. “But then, he gets letters from women who want to connect with him, romantically.”

On November 6, 2018, Watts pleaded guilty to the murder of his wife and daughters. Watts committed the murders because “he was having an affair with a co-worker who thought he was already separated.”

He accepted a plea deal to remove the death penalty from sentencing.

Now, in protective custody at a Wisconsin prison, Watts spends 23-hours a day in his cell with a bible and several family pictures.

He is not eligible for parole.
