Chrisean Rock Says She Will “Tighten Up” After Viral Video Show Newborn’s Head Unsupported in Walmart [Video]

Chrisean Rock says she will improve her parenting but questions why a bystander would record her viral Walmart moment instead of assisting her. 

The rapper was slammed online after a video showed her shopping with her newborn son in a carrier strapped to her chest with no support for the baby’s neck and back. Many people, including her child’s father, Blueface, questioned why Rock was not properly carrying the infant, who was born on September 3rd.

However, Rock says while she realizes she made a mistake, someone should have advised her on the correct way to carry her son. 

“Instead of that lady recording me, she could have just helped me,” she said during an Instagram Live session, adding, “This mommy sh** is cool, but your mind is racing.”

Since giving birth, Rock has endured mounting backlash on social media, who accused her of being unfit. Fans pointed out that she attended a football game days after having her son. Blueface has likely been Rock’s biggest critic of them all, even threatening to take the baby boy and raise him with his first baby’s mother, Jaidyn Alexis. He has also lashed out at Rock for naming their son after herself, which she now considers changing. After the Walmart video, he did send kind words to Rock, asking fans to encourage the new mom instead of bashing her. Even with questions surrounding her actions, the former track runner says she will do better as a mother.

“I’m still learning. I love my baby. He’s a good baby. I’m a tighten-up, straight up…everybody makes mistakes,” she shared.
