Chrisean Rock has been extradited from California to Oklahoma, where she faces serious drug charges that could land her in prison for up to eight years.
According to TMZ, Rock’s inmate file from the Craig County Sheriff’s Office shows that she arrived in Oklahoma on Wednesday evening, August 7. The rapper is charged with possession of controlled dangerous substances with intent to distribute and failing to have a tax stamp affixed to the drugs.
Rock had known about the active warrant for her arrest since March, but reportedly avoided turning herself in due to concerns about her young son, whom she shares with rapper Blueface, who is also currently behind bars.
Chrisean’s legal troubles began when she was arrested in June after attending Blueface’s court hearing with their child in California. She was taken into custody at a San Fernando Valley courthouse, where several officers were waiting for her. Before being extradited to Oklahoma, the 24-year-old had to serve a 30-day sentence in California for a misdemeanor assault charge involving a deadly weapon.
Blueface’s manager, Wack 100, previously provided updates on Rock’s situation, expressing optimism that she would be transported to Oklahoma quickly and that her time behind bars might be shorter than expected. He suggested that once she reached Oklahoma, there was a chance she could be released within a few months, possibly before the end of summer.
However, Blueface’s situation appears to be more severe. The rapper was recently sentenced to four years in prison for a probation violation related to a 2021 incident. His father shared the news in an emotional video on August 9, revealing the extent of his son’s sentence.
Despite the challenges both Chrisean Rock and Blueface face, Wack 100 remains hopeful that their time behind bars will be shorter than anticipated.
