Chrisette Michele is in the hot seat once again, following an emotional announcement of her failing career and miscarriage. If you recall, the singer took to Instagram to reveal she had been dropped from her label, she had suicidal thoughts and on top of all of that, she had a miscarriage.
In the post, Michele posted a text photo that read, “I had a miscarriage,” with the caption, “You don’t have to be a celebrity to fail, to fight, to struggle. Pain is universal…I went into the gym and trained like a body builder to try and push past the pain I was feeling.”
“Drinking maybe nothing but water for a day after a day of heavy intake. My trainer didn’t know it but he was feeding the demon that covered up hurt with food. I had a long cycle,” she continued. “Something came out of me. It was my child. The one my love and I worked so hard on.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Michele’s post was accompanied by a photo of what appeared to be blood clots, signifying her miscarriage. Although she had not said the picture was hers, fans called her out for posting the misleading photo. As it appears, the photo came from a woman named “tgoood” on community.babycenter.com. *WARNING! In the post, dated 10/01/2014, the woman explained that she hadn’t had a period for two months. Her breast became tender, she took two pregnancy tests, but both came back negative. When she woke up the next day, she saw she was bleeding. Upon checking her pants, she found two clots. She posted the picture, which looks identical to the image Michele posted, on the site, asking if what she experienced was a miscarriage.
